I love this place. I always get a ham poboy my only wish is that they add 4 slices of ham instead of 2. I drive 42 miles to get my favorite sandwich.

I absolutely love their food .. but they are never open . Every time I go there they are closed. Everyone I know complains about the same thing . I went there today at 1:30pm and was turned away and told that the grill was closed and I couldn't buy food because they close at 2:00pm on Friday . This is a restaurant that has lots and lots of loyal customers because their quality of food is so good. But yet they are never open. They must don't like to make money is all I can see . 😮😮😡 Signed , Frustrated and Hungry

Goal Post Drive Inn , is and always will be an icon in our community. If you want fast order and pick go to McD , if you want good quality food , place an order or either by calling ahead or order when you get there and enjoy peacefulness looking and listening to the bayou. Roast beef poboy is on of my favorites.

Don't stop here if you've just gotten out of work and are tired and really hungry. Placed an order at the window and waited half an hour to find out that she forgot to call the order back to the cook! Got a refund and went to a REAL diner. Won't wast my time stopping again. I guess they cater mostly to the fatties that can't fit through a restaurant door.

Great Place for as quick bite to eat

Goal post has been open for many years and still remains busy. That speaks for itself. I do eat here sometimes. I enjoy the food and the shakes. The prices are a bit much (for me) if you are feeding a family. Plus knowing this isn't a "equality friendly" business I don't visit here much. The food is made to order and I've never had to wait for a phone order so if you are in a rush I suggest to call ahead.

The food is freash and made to order. The the people who work there are supper nice, and the food is awsome. Will definitely be going there again.

I've been stopping at the Goal Post for years. I'm certain that any of the local citizens can attest that they make the best burgers, for sure, and other delicious fare as well. It's best to phone ahead to save some time as they are always busy.
